Welcome to my blog. My name is Rodney Booe. I am the Lead Minister at Campbellsville Christian Church in Campbellsville, KY. I believe wholeheartedly people are called to something greater than we usually settle for. I believe that God didn't mean that Christians should live mundane, run-of-the-mill lives when He said:
"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." - 1 Peter 2:9, NIV
I believe that Christians are called to take responsibility for their faith, not the faith of their fathers or their pastors, but their own faith. The church's role is to equip believers and lead them to become rooted in God's love; loving God and loving others. That is what this blog is about. You can expect two types of posts from me. Monday's are devoted to celebrating groups and individuals who are becoming rooted in God's love or events that will be an asset to your spiritual growth. Wednesday's are more devotional in content.
