Monday's Mention...12/24/12

This will be a light blogging week for me, you know, with Christmas and all. Today's mention isn't about anything that has already happened, but what I am anticipating happening tonight at the Candlelight Christmas Eve Service. 

It's always a joy for us to gather in the sanctuary with our children to refocus our attention on the Christ-child that has come to redeem us and restore us back to our Heavenly Father. If it's not your usual practice to attend, let me strongly encourage you to try it out this year. 

I know the kids are in bed and you're tired from a family get-together. It'll be worth it. I promise. The kids will go back to sleep, the dishes and trash can wait a little bit. 

11:00 PM is a wonderful time to bring in your Christmas Day. I'll see you there, right?
