Monday's Mentions...12/3/12

- Yesterday morning was very exciting! During the first service, I was honored to baptize Carson and Katie Floyd into Christ! Beyond that, their big brother Tate, Mom and Dad also placed their membership with Campbellsville Christian. It didn't stop there, Shannon and Margo Gray also placed membership with us first service! 

What an exciting time as people see what God is doing here and desire to be part of it. Make sure to welcome all of these people to the family here at C.C.C.!

- We released our Family Christmas Devotional Guide yesterday morning as well. We almost ran out of our entire first printing! There are family devotions that started yesterday (Dec. 2nd) and run through Christmas Day written by Joe, Blake, Billy, and I. There are also Children's activities from Kari Jo! Can't get in to the church to pick one up? You can download it right here! 

- Most of our small groups wrapped up for 2012 last night. We'll be taking a break until January 6th when all the groups resume for the new year! 

Aren't in a small group and kicking yourself for it? Give me a call, text, or stop by and we'll talk through some of your options! 

- It's also the kick-off of the Christmas season here at C.C.C. Next Sunday (9th) is our annual Christmas banquet. Bring a salad, dessert, or vegetable and join us for a night of celebrating the birth of Christ. It starts at 6:00 PM.

- On December 16th, after we've fed ourselves the week before, join us as we serve our community. We will be making a ton of fleece blankets to give to the Crisis Pregnancy Center and our local nursing home residents. It promises to be a great time for the whole family. We'll meet in the Family Life Center at 6:30 PM!
